This is per the guidance of the CDC and WV state summer camp procedures.
What kind of COVID-19 precautions can I expect?
Each morning of camp participants will undergo the follow screenings/ questions:
Contactless Temperature Checks
Have you been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19?
Are you experiencing a cough, shortness of breath, or sore throat?
Have had a fever in the last 48 hours?
Have you had a loss of taste or smell?
Have you had diarrhea in the last 24 hours?
If participants answer yes to any of the follow questions, or has a fever upon arrival, the participant will be asked to go home and remain home for the remainder of the camp.
Staff will disinfect/ sanitize high touch zones, such as True Form runners after each use, and provide hand sanitizer for all participants.
Social distancing will be required during camp. To ensure safety, we will also be conducting most activities in “pods” of 10, per requirements of CDC and WV state guidelines.
What kind of weekly mileage is required in order to participate?
For our high school camps, we don't require any kind of base mileage in order to participate. However, we will be running every day, so base of running 2 + miles comfortably is preferred. We break into groups, so athletes with mileage closer to 50 - 60 + miles/ week will still be challenged and well run. So don't worry - we've got you covered, no matter your skill level!
For our middle school camps, there is no mileage required. As long as you like to run and want to learn - you'll have a great time!
For our adult camp, we will also split into groups, so no mileage is required just a desire to run more efficiently and be a lifelong runner.
Will I be bored if I am a seasoned athlete?
No! Our camps are designed for every level to improve performance and take your training to the next level. We will have group runs designed for all skills, and break into small groups to ensure everyone reaches their goals.
Who are these camps designed for?
Our high school camps are designed for young athletes looking to take their skills to the next level next season.
Our middle schools camps are designed for anyone who loves to run!
Our Adult Camps are designed for anyone who wants to be a lifelong runner!
